Last night was my last Third Thursday - that's a street fair in Pittsfield where I've gone several times this summer - and definitely the busiest. When we go we always park by the courthouse so I can practice underfootings. That I won't miss doing.
We got there just in time to watch a parade. There were lots of men wearing women's high heels. They were very awkward. I am SO glad I did not have to do that but fortunately there were no puppy shoes available.
My favorite salsa band (Berkshire Bateria) was there so I heard them for the last time.
I saw some people playing drums.
Then we listened to some people playing armed forces songs - especially for some veterans that were there. They stood up and played for them.
