BACK TO OTIS - 9 weeks old

RICARDO, ROMEO, REGINA, RIO AND RAMONA TOOK THEIR TESTS ON DAY TWO.  ROMEO AND RIO (JANE SAID RIO WALKED IN LIKE SHE OWNED THE PLACE, WHATEVER THAT MEANS) DID AWESOME BUT RICARDO AND REGINA HAVE TO TAKE ANOTHER TEST NEXT WEEK.  I THINK THEY'LL DO JUST FINE.  RAMONA DECIDED SHE DID NOT WANT TO BE A GUIDE DOG SO WILL BE SOMEONE'S BEST FRIEND.  I AM DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE RAMONA WAS SUPPOSED TO COME LIVE NEAR ME WITH OUR FRIEND DIANE.  SO INSTEAD ROBIN IS COMING HOME WITH ME TODAY UNTIL HER NEW MOM PICKS HER UP AT MY HOUSE. IT'S A SAD DAY, THOUGH, BECAUSE I KNOW I WILL NEVER SEE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS ALL TOGETHER EVER AGAIN.

HERE WE ARE ALL SETTLED IN OUR CRATE IN THE CAR.  WHAT A WONDERFUL SURPRISE TO FIND TEDDY AND MONKEY IN OUR CRATE WAITING TO RIDE WITH US! I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN,EVER!
SO WE ARE READY FOR OUR NEW LIVES TO BEGIN.  GOODBYE GEB.

As soon as we got home we had dinner - we were hungry.  Actually we're always hungry.  We are labrador retrievers, after all!

We were very tired after a busy couple of days so we chilled out on our cushion.  We thought we should be able to get on the couch with Oneida, but she said "only big GG's allowed on the furniture, no puppies".  Not fair.

Robin was having a sleepover at my house so we snuggled in our crate when it was bedtime - I am on the left.

GOOD NIGHT - WE'LL SEE YOU IN THE MORNING

We had a great night's sleep - I was happy to have Robin and bunny for sleep buddies.  The next morning after we all had breakfast Robin and I went for a walk with our Mom.  We had never been out of our yard before so it was a big adventure.

After our walk we went to work.  The GG's shared their pen and beds (and their toys) with us.  We took a nap because the walk was tiring for little legs.

Then we went outside and explored a little.

While we waited for Diane and Paula -Robin is going to live with Paula for a while, then with Becky before she goes to Diane's house- PHEW that's confusing!- we shared a bone on the bridge we walked across this morning when we came to work.  It was really fun there.
We could hear the water running underneath where we were lying and listened to the cars and trucks driving by.  There were some motorcycles also and they were VERY LOUD.  Some customers stopped to say hello because we are just SO CUTE OMG in the words of one little girl
Robin practicing her labrafrog position - we are determined that some day this will be a GEB puppy skill!

Paula and Diane came in the afternoon.  Diane had not seen us since we were little so she was surprised how big we had grown.  We explored with them for a while, then Paula packed up all of Robin's stuff and Robin was ready to leave me.  I let her take Teddy because I have all of the GG's along with monkey and bunny to keep me company and I did not want Robin to be lonely. At least I will get to see Robin every week at puppy class.  Goodbye Robin.  Until Monday.
