MY BEGINNINGS

My name is Raisin (GEB Raisin - GEB stands for Guiding Eyes for the Blind) and when I grow up I will be the best friend and eyes for a seeing impaired person.  I am 14 weeks old today - my birthday is 6/23/13.
I have 8 brothers and sisters (Randy is in New Hampshire, Ricardo and Romeo in the Ulster region in New York, Rio in Eastern Massachusetts, Rupert in the Fingerlakes Region of New York, Regina in Ohio, and Robin with me in Northern Connecticut.  My sister Ramona decided that she did not want to be a guide dog so she is living with a family and being best friends with a little girl.

This is all of us with our mom Bea when we were 2 days old.  She was very surprised to have 9 of us because her ultrasound showed only 6.  But she is a good mom and stepped up to the plate!  She is very tired in this picture.
